I am a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with decades of experience in pediatric care.  I received my training both undergraduate and graduate at the University of Pennsylvania.  I have more than twenty years of experience focused exclusively on pediatric neurology.

I am passionate about the role of lifestyle and nutrition in managing headaches, and believe these drivers are too often overlooked or underemphasized in developing a comprehensive plan of care. Emerging evidence shows that nutrition plays a key role in managing and preventing headaches. I can advise on practical modifications to any diet and hold a Certificate in plant-based nutrition through the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies at Cornell. 

I am a certified HeartMath®  health professional. This certification enables me to integrate science-based  HeartMath®  biofeedback techniques in my care, supporting stress regulation, emotional wellness and resilience in children and families.

I am dedicated to providing the highest quality care to my patients.  By combining my expertise in pediatric neurology with a holistic, integrative approach, together we will implement a comprehensive approach to address your child's pain and help them thrive.

A Nurse Practitioner is a highly trained, compassionate healthcare professional who blends the science of medicine with the art of caring. Nurse Practitioners are advanced practice registered nurses with graduate-level medical education and clinical experience. Nurse Practitioners are licensed to: 

• Diagnose and treat illnesses
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans. 

As a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, I bring not only medical expertise  but also a commitment to listening, educating  and empowering  families.  As a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, I have passed the national board certification exam and complete ongoing continuing medical education to stay current with the latest developments and treatments. In NY State, Nurse Practitioners can practice independently and offer families accessible, compassionate and expert care. 

Please note that Integrative Pediatric Headache Care is out of network with insurance providers. I do not bill insurance directly, but am happy to provide a superbill (detailed receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
