My PRACTICE
I am a pediatric headache specialist dedicated to providing comprehensive treatment for children suffering from chronic migraine and tension-type headaches. Located in Harrison, Westchester County, NY, my practice's mission is to enhance the quality of life for every child through a holistic approach tailored to their unique situation.
Far too frequently, modern medicine involves rushed visits and prescriptions thrown at every symptom. My practice departs from that norm. Visits are extremely comprehensive and I will take the time to partner with you, to identify root causes of your child or teen's headaches and treat them as holistically as possible. I utilize evidence-based medicine in conjunction with Integrative Medicine techniques to address your child's unique needs. Before our first appointment, I will review detailed information you provide so that I can start our visit with a clear picture of your child's needs and we can get beyond the basics. Our 90 minute consultation will be a chance for us to explore in depth your child's medical history and current symptoms, and to develop a holistic approach to care. We will develop a tailored treatment plan that may include:
- Evidence based medications when appropriate
- Integrative therapies such as nutrition, mindfulness or relaxation strategies
- Lifestyle guidance for long -term headache prevention.
My goal is not just to reduce symptoms, but to help your child thrive at home, in school and socially.
I offer in person visits, telehealth appointments across NY State, and house calls, making care accessible and family friendly.
What is Integrative Medicine?
Integrative Medicine incorporates conventional medicine and complementary therapies to treat the whole person. It takes into account the myriad of factors influencing wellness including nutrition, the physical environment, exercise, sleep, interpersonal relationships, mindfulness and the mind body connection to achieve optimal health and healing. Integrative medicine encompasses a wide spectrum of healthcare practices including herbal remedies, meditation, yoga, massage and acupuncture which a patient may be referred to in order to promote wellness. In integrative medicine, the patient and the practitioner are partners in the healing process.

I am a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with decades of experience in pediatric care. I received my training both undergraduate and graduate at the University of Pennsylvania. I have more than twenty years of experience focused exclusively on pediatric neurology.
I am passionate about the role of lifestyle and nutrition in managing headaches, and believe these drivers are too often overlooked or underemphasized in developing a comprehensive plan of care. Emerging evidence shows that nutrition plays a key role in managing and preventing headaches. I can advise on practical modifications to any diet and hold a Certificate in plant-based nutrition through the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies at Cornell.
I am dedicated to providing the highest quality care to my patients. By combining my expertise in pediatric neurology with a holistic, integrative approach, together we will implement a comprehensive approach to address your child's pain and help them thrive.
What is a Nurse Practitioner?
A Nurse Practitioner is a highly trained, compassionate healthcare professional who blends the science of medicine with the art of caring. Nurse Practitioners are advanced practice registered nurses with graduate-level medical education and clinical experience. Nurse Practitioners are licensed to:
- Diagnose and treat illnesses
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans.
As a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, I bring not only medical expertise but also a commitment to listening, educating and empowering families. As a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, I have passed the national board certification exam and complete ongoing continuing medical education to stay current with the latest developments and treatments. In NY State, Nurse Practitioners can practice independently and offer families accessible, compassionate and expert care.
Insurance & Billing
Please note that Integrative Pediatric Headache Care is out of network with insurance providers. I do not bill insurance directly, but am happy to provide a superbill (detailed receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
